Audio, video, and photography

I’ve spend most of my career in the training industry. My personal philosophy is that training these days is less about simply having more knowledge, and instead about being about to present the information to them in a beautiful and digestible way. In that sense, there is an element of marketing the knowledge to the learner so they get excited about learning. This is where visual design, clean audio and thoughtful video production shine.

Audio Engineering

It started in my friends' basement, fueled by our love for indie music, which laid the foundation for my audio engineering knowledge. As I moved into professional settings, I improved my skills in voice recording, editing, and processing. I have provided high-quality voiceovers and background music for promotional materials and training.

Tools: Fruity Loops, Cakewalk, Avid Pro Tools, Audacity.

Video Production

I’ve touched every aspect of video production over the last twenty years. Most of my expertise lies in scriptwriting and editing, but I’ve had a hand in shooting, directing, lighting, and on-camera experience as well.

My personal favorite project was an 8 minute informative video for Verizon leadership called “Your Brain on Change.” I worked closely with the change management team and to come up with a handful of personal scenarios about a fictional sales team. The video focused on how we can use our knowledge of neuroscience to more smoothly affect change in a professional environment.

I also really enjoyed working with Dr Gravenkemper of Gravenkemper Consulting, and OSV studios here in Cleveland on a video series about the importance of Emotional Intelligence for tech employees.
